click here to visit his webpage JR – Artist.

JR is his nickname, he has been around for a long time and in recent years has grown to be one of the most important artist of our time, he is an activist and artist and as he puts it in his own words “JR owns the biggest art gallery in the globe, He exhibits freely in the streets of the world, catching the attention of people who are not the museum visitors. His work mixes Art and Act, talks about commitment, freedom, identity and limit.”
Below I will paste some of the photos we took while in LA of his huge “wrinkles” show, all in the streets of downtown LA, Venice beach, etc. Besides LA, JR does great activism around the world, his huge collages on the Israeli wall that divides them from Palestine or multiple African cities where he covered roof tops with huge photos of human faces, his work is very strong, one visual says it all. Enjoy
